U-Boot Klasse 206A by Revell from £8.99
With a displacement of 500 tons this class of submarine is one of the smallest and most manoeuvrable armed submersibles. It went into service with the Federal German Navy in 1971 and from 1988 underwent a modernisation programme at HDW. Low sound radiation, amagnetic construction and optimum manoeuvrability are features of the Type 206. Wire guided torpedoes are located in 8 bow tubes. Max. speed 17 kn, 21 man crew.
