Here you will find a fun line, launched late in 2010, brought to you from Spinmaster. This delightful range of creatures called Zoobles is bound to be a massive hit, particularly with girls. Each cute, colourful character resides in a ball shaped home or Happitat, all of which are found on the Isle of Zooble. This mysterious island is divided into different regions or areas known as Petagonia, Azoozia, Petal Point, Chillsville or Seagonia, with many more planned for the future.
Roll them around and place on a happitat hot spot to unlock their secrets. Once a Zooble hits a hot spot they activate and transform from the tiny balls and spring open with the help of magnets to reveal the quirky, mischievous creature beneath. Only here can they pop open and if you are lucky enough to have one of the play sets you can roll them around on the slides and hills to let the hidden hot spots surprise you by popping open when you least expect it. |

Petagonia is for the region for pets such as Doxy, Nosely, Jumphrey or Pickle and the creatures can be cats, dogs, bunny rabbits and also mice, turtles or birds. Most have big flickering eyes that blink, as the head is petted and adorable large ears. Azoozia is the zoo of the land with wild animals such as Lions, Monkeys and Elephants plus can you guess who Panderson, Zebrina and Necky are? You will have worked out by now their names are all a play on words which some how makes them seem even more cute. Could these three be a Panda, Zebra and Giraffe?!
Petal Point is the garden happitat for flower zoobles such as Iris and Marygold or Stingy and Flutter, which are based on a bee and butterfly – and some even come with their own mini friend like Poppy. Try mixing these with the Pinegrove collection too with Spikes and Bitsy his mini friend. Chillsville is the cold place of the island and has arctic, snowy themes with characters such as Slippy, Snowy, Arcty, Misty, Tuskee, Whitepaw, Cariboo, Clambert or Waddles. Finally Seagonia is the perfect place to find underwater themed characters such as zooble seahorses or sea lions or crabs and starfish or even whales with names like Octavius (Octopus), Minka (whale), and Flipper (Dolphin).
There is a massive range of different friends to collect (far too many to name individually) and each character is numbered so you can keep track of where you are with the collection. Double packs of zoobles are called Twobles, Hair-doobles have their own hair extensions. Deelights are ones that light up and glow and special edition ones have gems or other distinct, unusual decorations such as being shiny or fuzzy.
Suitable for a wide range of age groups however as there are some intricate parts, including magnets, the Zoobles are only suitable for age groups 4+. |
