These little chatacters are three apples high, have blue skin and are dressed in white trousers and a cap. Yet they are a happy, easy-going bunch, give or take one or two. The Smurfs is a classic childrens brand that originated in a 1958 Belgium comic strip. 25 Million Smurf comic boobs have been sold in 25 languages and the comics were turned into a childrens TV series in 1982. Consumers all around the world became familiar with these whimsical little characters. Smurfs quickly became a brand not just for children, but for collectors aswell. In 1995 the Smurfs became techno popstars with their own CD and 10 million copies have been sold.
