For the ultimate racing theme Scalextric offer some great trackside accessories that let your miniature racing world come alive. To get your start/finish straight you could add buildings such as the grandstand and control tower. You could even have a Dunlop footbridge that stretches across the track.
At some point you’re going to have to pit, and there are some great models that make the experience a little more authentic. The pit crews would be a fantastic add-on, all posed ready to change tyres and refill your car. Have these set up to the self-assembly pit garage and it’s sure to look like the real thing. These would be great to set up if you had a spare car that wasn’t being raced.
To create a pit lane you will need one of the pit lane packs, either the C7014 for left hand or the C7015 for right hand.
