Scalextric Classics & Limited Edition Cars

From the Volkswagen Beetle to the Jaguar D-Type, we have a great variety of classic and limited edition cars. You couldn’t get a more British classic than the original Mini. There are a few to choose from in the 2011 range, including the police standard Morris and the Cooper rally car which is based on Timo Makinen’s car which won him the 1000 Lakes Rally in 1966.

There are some truly stunning limited editions coming this year, the McLaren MP4-12C is a prime example. Scalextric and McLaren have teamed up for this one, bringing you a car that is not only lightweight and fast, but strong and comfortable too. McLaren have even brought in their F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button to pick the colours. Lewis chose the Volcano Red, and Jenson picked out Carbon Black.

If you prefer a more classic limited edition then the Aston Martin DB5 would be a great choice. This model is based on the 1963 DB5 from the James Bond film ‘Casino Royale’. This is the second model in a series of three Bond cars.

Watch out though, these Limited Editions are a must have. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
