Rupert Bear |
Rupert Bear is a cartoon character created by Mary Toutel and was first found in the Daily Express in 1920. It was the the only cartoon to continue throughout World War II, as they thought it would damage morale. It eventually got a TV series on ITV which ran from 1970-1974 that was made with puppets. It wasn't until the early 1990s Rupert got an animated series.
