These figures and toys relate to the science fiction cult drama TV programme called Primeval. In this show you follow a team of five scientists who investigate anomalies (see Anomaly detector) in time and come across all sorts of bother with having to deal with prehistoric and futuristic creatures, and the like, which travel through time. Some of these beings can very dangerous and scary. The television programme has been a great success and currently is in its 4th series.
‘Primeverse’ is what fans call this strange alternative universe, which is quite extensive, however this series just focuses on a small section of it, thankfully! The main characters, Steve, Nick, Jenny, Abby and Connor work for the British government and you can play out those exciting scenes with the figure and monster sets. |

The in-universe concepts and the majority of worlds featured are taken from pre-existing works, and are difficult to appreciate without some prior knowledge of real life paleontology (basically the study of prehistoric life).
