Pingu Plush Toys

We all love Pingu! We don’t understand him but we love him all the same. Well he is from Switzerland or rather his animated series is. Pingu is the cutest little penguin who lives at the snowy South Pole with the rest of his family - his mother, father and baby sister Pinga who has recently hatched. He is black with a white belly, very orange feet and the reddest little nose. He is around 5 years old and at that age you can imagine he gets into all sorts of mischief. It is lucky he is so cute that he gets away with it.

Pingu has a very expressive nature and you can tell exactly how he is feeling by his mannerisms and noises even if we are unable to translate his words. As a typical small child he likes to be in the limelight and sulks if he is not getting enough attention. It’s a good job his best friend Robby, the seal, is on hand to keep him occupied and together they make a comic duo getting into lots of embarrassing scrapes.

He loves to ride around on his sledge or scooter and also do a spot of fishing with his best pal. It can get quite cold at the South Pole so sometimes he starts to shiver and that’s why you’ll find here a Shivering Pingu.
