Noddy Toys, Games and Puzzles

Noddy is like a little imp, a wooden boy a bit like Pinocchio – he wears a red top, yellow and red spotted scarf and blue shorts and a distinctive blue floppy pointy hat, with a bell which jingles everywhere he goes, and big shiny red shoes. He is a kind and honest soul and lives at a little place called Toytown along with all of the other toys. So kind in fact he best let you know whom you can and can’t trust in this town.

Noddy says that THE best person to trust with anything is Big Ears. That’s because he is around 100 years old and is a very wise old brownie gnome that lives on a toadstool at the very edge of the enchanted wood. He is magic, but only just as his magic powers have the habit of causing a few mishaps along the way. Thinking about it though, he must be trustworthy because he is one of Noddy’s best friends. He would choose Tessie Bear too as his closest friend, who is clever but mostly she is kind and very cheery, lighting the way for other people’s happiness and as such is one of Noddy’s special friends. She also lives in a picnic hamper, so with lots of cakes and buns she is brilliant to have around at parties. Tessie Bear is kind enough to sometimes look after a little dog called Bumpy Dog that’s always bumping into all of the other toys including Noddy which he doesn’t enjoy very much, especially when he gets knocked over. Toys not to trust include two goblins called Sly and Goobo who are really quite mean and play lots of tricks on Noddy and try to spoil all of his fun – they are in summary little rotters. Thankfully the local policeman Mr. Plod tries to keep them out of mischief, but he can’t look out for them all of the time so just does his best when he can. In fact Mr. Plod tries to keep the peace with all of the toys in Toytown and he does this by doing an awful lot of laughing – you may say he is a laughing policeman! Lastly let’s talk about Whiz, a relative newcomer to these parts, but now in charge of the garage. He looks like a robot and moves around on roller skates and likes everything to be in order! Noddy gets around Toytown in his red and yellow taxi and gives lifts to many of his chums. He is often seen in his car. He also is a pilot so watch him fly around with the Noddy Remote Control Plane. His car is also available as remote too.

There are lots of other toys to meet, but too many to mention so you'll just have to go and meet them yourself. In fact here in Toytown (and at WWSM) lives every type of toy that you can imagine so he has a lot of friends to play around with and play is something he does a lot of.
