There is going to be at least one time baby brings up a little more than a burp. So these are great for putting over your shoulder to help reduce the already increasing washing pile. When you start to wean baby you’ll almost definitely need a bib to help stop them clothes getting tough stains in. The soft ones are nice for the first stages are you can wipe babies face with them as well. But the wipe able ones are very practical, just give them a wipe at the end of each feed and there clean. However when baby when baby starts to want to feed itself, I’d recommend a bib with arms as well. Meal time can get very messy, so an all over cover will help protect clothes to a maximum!
