Creepy Crawlers

Creepy Crawlers involves bugs and goop, so for boys, what’s not to love? Mattel first produced creepy Crawlers in 1964. They were sets that involved metal moulds into which you could pour Plastigoop. The moulds were then heated and once cooled you could open them to reveal a rubbery replica of all kinds of bugs. New technology and safety regulations meant that later versions of the set included an oven that had a door that remained locked as long as the moulds were too hot to handle.

Creepy Crawlers is the Premier Gross Activity for Boys! Most boys love anything that is remotely disgusting and it’s even better if you get to horrify your parents and terrorise your sister at the same time! Children can make and hatch their own bugs, walk them down walls and then smash and grind them. Watch their intestines ooze out everywhere when you smash them against the wall or on the floor. Squash them in your hands to feel the gross guts and eerie eggs run through your fingers!

Extend your play with new moulds, eggs and different coloured goo. One thing is for sure, with Creepy Crawlers, gross play is here to stay!
