Brio Disney & Hello Kitty

Brio have recently launched a welcome addition to their wooden toy range and have now introduced a couple of licensed product ranges into their collection in the form of Disney and Hello Kitty. This means you have the reassurance of the Brio toy durability and safety coupled with character designs which are simply irresistible.

Brio Disney includes the most adored characters from their most famous classic films. We have a selection of three Dalmatian pull along dogs, with their famous black and white spots and ultra colourful collars – here Brio have taken their inspiration from the film 101 Dalmatians of course. So you can take a very well behaved dog for a walk, and he won’t pull we promise!

From The Lion King film we have Simba and Nala with moving body action. Simba being the main character and son of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi, and in the story he later meets and falls in love with the Lioness Nala. So you can’t have one without the other!

Classic Disney character Dumbo the elephant is also brought to life in a pull along. Dumbo is one of the cutest toys (it must be his massive ears and shy demeanour) we have seen in a long time and the great thing about these type of toys is that they encourage walking and also help develop motor skills, perception and balance. Disney would not be Disney without Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Pluto, Mickey’s dog. These favourites from childhood cartoons have an ageless, endearing quality which Brio has brilliantly captured. Have a Brio race using cars with Goofy in Green, Mickey in Red, Big Bad Pete in black, Minnie in pink spots, and Donald Duck in blue. Mickey also has his very colourful Clubhouse Train which can be used on the Mickey Wooden Railway Set.

Next Brio have taken on Hello Kitty in all her pinkness. Her cat logo and brand colours have been incorporated into some delightful pieces including a Toddler Wobbler walker, wooden pram, and sorting box as well as classic Brio products such as the hammer bench and building blocks. For once Brio has managed to create a very girly range of pink products, all with the cute Hello Kitty head image. For those that don’t know she originated as a character in Japan and her surname is White as she was actually born in England. She usually has a red bow in her hair, which Brio use here on some of the pieces and interchange with pink for added pizzazz!

What we can be sure of is that you cannot go wrong with any of these pieces. Guaranteed smiley faces all around when these products are taken home.
