Many famous warships that have been in many battles can be found on this shelf. Ships such as the German Battleship, Bismark, HMS Hood, HMS Fearless and The Tirpitz have all been created in model making kits by Airfix. They are available in several different sizes ranging from 1:72 to 1:600.
In 1939 Airfix was founded, originally making rubber Inflatable toys. In 1949, Airfix started injection moulding, firstly producing pocket combs, then moving on to what they make today. |
