It has thin white vertical bars and columns of spots on a dark background with long ridges along the upper side of the body, their eyes are tiny and situated quite far forward on its head. Its diet consists of small fishes such as anchovies, sardines and even sometimes larger fish such as mackerel, it finds its food by swimming slowly near the surface. You can find these sharks in tropical and subtropical oceans along coastal regions, divers & snorkels can actually swim with this gentle creature. This is a superb hand painted model by Schleich.
