The figure features mixed fatigues including realistic and removable green fabric camouflage shirt with combined body armour, patrol vest and desert camouflage trousers. This Commando figure has a removable Mark 6a combat helmet that provides outstanding protection while allowing the marine to wear a respirator, ear defenders, goggles and a radio set. Royal Marines Commandos carry all the latest kit and equipment they need to sustain themselves in the battlefield and are highly skilled in the use of the latest weapon systems and this all-action hero is no exception. Armed and ready with his own pistol; this Royal Marines Commando is also equipped with a light machine gun with stand that is a key component of a Royal Marines troop’s firepower! Quad bikes give our Armed Forces the ability to deliver vital supplies to the frontline. Reaching speeds of up to 75kph the all-terrain quad bikes are being used to deliver food, water and ammunition to troops on the frontline in difficult to access areas and they can operate through streams and puddles of up to half their wheel height. The Royal Marines are the UK Royal Navy’s 'go anywhere' amphibious forces and a key component of the government's Rapid Reaction Force. As such, they are required to be trained to work in different terrains and environments, from the cold, mountainous conditions in Northern Europe, to the hot arid regions of the Middle East and Africa and to the dense tropical jungles of the Far East. All Royal Marines are first and foremost, Commandos, and are required to undergo what is recognized as one of the longest and most demanding infantry training regimes in the world at the Commando Training Centre, Lympstone.
