The Rubiks Cube is a mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by Emo Rubik. Once called the Magic Cube, is thought to be the worlds best selling toy. It is made up of 9 square faces on each side, with each side made up of a different colour. The idea is to scramble the colours on each side, then by twisting the cube, you have to make each side the same colour.
Its unique turning action and simple colour concept made it the world's number one puzzle. Although it has 43 quintillion combinations, it can be solved in incredibly few moves. Solution hints booklet inside.
