In 1918 the world famous Duxford Airfield was commissioned and from these early days became a key base for many squadrons both from the RAF and later in WWII from the USAAF. This collection contains aircraft from WWII, a narrative from a fighter pilot from the war and other added items to really celebrate the history of this now much loved museum.
