The hurricane was the unsung hero at the beginning of the war and in particular during the Battle of Britain. It destroyed more enemy aircrafts than any other in the RAF at the time. The legendary Hurricane, which fought with such distinction in the Battle of Britain. This magnificently detailed kit captures perfectly the rugged defiance of Sydney Camm's immortal design.

Hurricane Mk I: The First production version of the Hurricane was the MkI. It had fabric-covered wings, a wooden two-bladed and a fixed-pitch propeller, while powered by the 1,030 hp (768 kW) Rolls-Royce Merlin Mk II or III engines that were armed with eight .303 in (7.7 mm) Browning machine guns. This version was produced between 1937 and 1939.
