Hornby Double Curve Radius Track. Hornby Track Systems - Handle with care. This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old. The track that the models run on has a gauge of 16.5mm (gauge being the distance between the inside faces of the running rails). This combination of scale and gauge is commonly referred to as "00 Gauge". The scale of an "00 Gauge" model train is 1:76 (ie. One seventy-sixth of the full size) or approximately 4mm to 1ft. It is therefore sometimes referred to as 'modelling in 4mm'.
