BMW 635 Csi by Revell from £15.99
The BMW 635 CSi exhibited in 1978 embodied everyday usefulness, comfort and sportiness like no other model in the E24 series. The BMW offered a luxurious amount of space, its well-padded dashboard was dominated by three large round indicators. Thanks to computer-controlled chassis and suspension and carefully thought-out engine technology, the 365 CSi offered noteworthy positive driving characteristics. The six-cylinders in-line engine of the 3.5 litre sports coupé originated from the legendary BMW M1 and delivered 218 bhp. The 635 CSi reached a top speed of about 228 km/h. It accelerated from 0 to 100 in just 6 seconds. Its popularity is reflected in the production figures: over 45,200 of the 635 CSi rolled off the line.
