Instructions for Use: Please be aware that the way the batteries are inserted is far from normal as two are both the same way around, not each a different way. Before inserting the batteries, ensure the on/off switch on the underside of the unit is switched to off.
Once the batteries are in, they have to be pushed down by their cover until the black plastic cover is fully flush with the rest of the unit. This cover needs to be held tightly in position whilst the retaining screw is tightened and screwed down as far as it will go.
Once the batteries and cover are securely in place, switch the on/off switch to on, then press the round button on top of the traffic lights and, in a second or two, they should start to work. This top button can be used to change between the different auto/manual modes too.
