Description:The Longton Pierced Table Lamp also known as the Matilda is one of two lamps produced by Leeds Pottery it has a classical shape with piercing around the top and around the bottom. This piercing is carried out whilst the lamp is in clay form before firing and it is done with a shaped metal cutting tool.
