Leeds Pottery- Tea Cup With Pierced Saucer Tea Cup With Saucer Height 2" (5cm) Pierced Saucer (01603) Diameter 5" (13cm) . The Tea Cup is based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze. The Tea Cup has a plain bowl shape with a bead border a double intertwined loop handle with flower and leaf terminals. The Pierced Saucer with pattern of openwork to outer rim with a ribbed border. Openwork is the process where patterns are formed of oval diamond, heart shaped or other shaped holes, each of which is individually cut out with a simple metal tool and usually known as pierced ware.
