Sugar Bowls - Hartley Greens & Co (Leeds Pottery) potters since the 1780s. There are many more Leeds Pottery Sugar Bowls in the full range but only three in Teasware and a very artistic sugar shaker. In the early days of sugar usage its refinement was not as good as today and sugar was often sprinkled rather than spooned hence the sugar shaker and the sugar ladle is also perforated for this purpose.
