Hunslet Plates. Hunslet Tableware inspired by the plain crockery produced in the 18th century for use below stairs. These simple bold shapes were often decorated with a single band of herringbone moulding. The manufacture of Hunslet Pottery is continuing today in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, at Longton one of the six towns making up the potteries.
