Hartley Greens Hunslet Jugs. Hunslet Tableware inspired by the simple utilitarian crockery was produced in the 18th century for use below stairs. Bold shapes often decorated with a single band of herringbone moulding. No longer confined to the servants use it is given pride of place on the main table. Today Hunslet Pottery is made in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, at Longton one of the original pottery towns.
