Leeds Pottery- Plain Teapot Height 5 3/4" (14.5cm)

Based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze.

Cylindrical with a concave neck it has a double intertwined cord handle with flower and fruit and leaf terminals, the curved spout has similar terminals applied around the base and moulded cable borders. The lid pierced has a flower handle with flower and leaf terminals.
