The Pierced Lattice Plate is based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze.
The Pierced Lattice Plate oval moulded and pierced to form a basketwork effect.
Openwork is the process where patterns are formed of oval diamond, heart shaped or other shaped holes, each of which is individually cut out with a simple metal tool and usually known as pierced ware.
