The Pierced Flower Basket is oval with a spreading foot it has slight twist in its moulded handle, the body shaped as an open petal is pierced back and front with a pattern of openwork.
Openwork is the process where patterns are formed using various shaped holes, each of which is individually cut out with a simple metal tool.
