Openwork Vases
The Medium Openwork Vase is traditionally shaped with a pattern of pierced diamond shaped openwork around the top in a basketwork form. Openwork is the process where patterns are formed with holes cut out with a simple metal tool when it is in soft clay stage and glazed afterwards.
