Open Work Single Tier Cake Stand -Victorian
The Open Work Single Tier Cake Stand with Victorian Stand Stem is made from a Large Openwork Plate so called because of its piercing in the style of basketwork this piercing is carried out whilst in soft clay form before kiln firing it is done with a shaped cutter, it takes an experienced potter to complete the piercing which is largely carried out freehand.
The pre-drilled plate is supplied with a Victorian Cake Stand Stem in either silver or gold please specify at the time of ordering. It is dispatched in flat pack form for home assembly.
