Heart-Shaped Pot Pourri
The Heart-Shaped Pot Pourri flat bottomed with a raised lid, both shaped has a heart. The lid has a heart shaped openwork border with a further openwork panel within. Openwork or piercing is the process where patterns are formed of oval diamond, heart shaped or other shaped holes, each of which is individually cut out with a simple metal tool whilst still in the clay stage prior to firing.
