Heart-Shaped Pot Pourri Length 4 1/2" (11cm)
The Heart-Shaped Pot Pourri is based on the original Hartley Greens pattern book, earthenware, and glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze. The Heart-Shaped Pot Pourri flat bottomed with a raised lid, both shaped has a heart. The lid has a heart shaped openwork border with a further openwork panel within.
Openwork is the process where patterns are formed of oval diamond, heart shaped or other shaped holes, each of which is individually cut out with a simple metal tool.
