Description:The very traditional Ginger Jar with a pear shaped body and slightly flared base the domed lid has a ‘fir apple’ knob. The body and the lid are pierced in a repeated theme around the circumference.
Ginger jars were used to store spices other than ginger salt as well and some cases oils, they are though to have originated in China gaining its popularity during the Quin Dynasty
