Description:Ewer Height 9 1/2" (24cm): The Ewer is based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, and glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze. The Ewer is baluster shaped on a pedestal foot the body and part of the foot are fluted the rim is moulded with a border of scrollwork; the double intertwined handle has flower and leaf terminals. Basin Length 13" (33cm): The Basin is based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, and glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze. The Basin is oval with a spreading foot, the body and foot are partly fluted, the rim has a pattern of scrollwork.
