Buff Orpington Mug

The Orpington chicken is celebrated in the form of this lovely Emma Bridgewater ½ pint mug. It is so named after its place or origin in Orpington Kent where the breed started in the 1880’s. It looks a chubby little bird which is partly due to the abundance of its fluffy feathers. The broody breed comes in a number of different colours and this mug features the Buff version which is one of the most widely seen. Other colours include Black, White and Lavender (blue).

The Buff Orpington ½ pint mug features beautiful images of the bird on the outside and its name on the inside in blue text. She’s a friendly soul so will enjoy sharing a cuppa or two with you during the day!
