The Dolphin Candlestick is based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, and glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze. The Dolphin Candlestick has a vase shaped candleholder resting on a shell, which is supported by a dolphin resting on a circular base moulded with feather and bead borders.
