Leeds Pottery- Creamware Tea for Two
  • ‘The Creamware Tea for Two’ Tea Service comprises of the following
  • 1 Pierced Teapot (Height 5 3/4" (14.5cm)
    Pierced Teapot is cylindrical with a concave neck, the lid, which is pierced, has a flower handle. The pot is double walled with the outer wall being pierced with an openwork pattern.
  • Cream Jug  (Height 4" (10cm)
    Cream Jug is based on the original from the late 18th Century, is pear shaped with a spreading foot; it has a double intertwined handle with flower and fruit and leaf terminals.
  • Plain Sugar Bowl (Height 3 1/2" (9cm))
    Sugar Bowl is based on the design from the original pattern book, it is circular on a spreading foot the body has fluted intertwined handles the lid has a flower knob.
  • Two Tea Cups With Pierced Saucers  (Cup Height 2" (5cm) Saucer Diameter 5" (13cm))
    Tea Cup is based on the original, it has a plain bowl shape with a double intertwined loop handle with flower and leaf terminals. The Pierced Saucer has a pattern of openwork to outer rim.
  • Two Small Pierced Plates (Diameter 6 1/2" (16.5cm))
    The Small Pierced Plate is pierced with a pattern of openwork to the outer rim, the wall of the central recess is fluted.
  • One Tray (Length 14" (35.5cm) Width 11 ½" (29cm))
    The Tray is is rectangular with curved raised edges, all sides are decorated with panels of pierced openwork.
