The Cruet Set is based on the original dated late 18th Century, earthenware, and glazed pale cream, this is commonly described as Creamware, Pearlware, Leedsware, China Glaze or even Salt Glaze. The Cruet Set baluster shaped on a moulded spreading foot has a tapered pierced top; it was used as a salt, pepper or sugar castor.
