Two plate sizes are available, the Black Toast 8.5” plate and the Black Toast 10.5” Plate. Only one is provided, just choose the right size for your needs. This pattern is a true classic and the plates even more so as they were actually one of the very earliest shapes available in this collection. Indeed the plate actually gave rise to the pattern’s name in the first place so we hold these in great esteem. As do Emma Bridgewater who say that these plates are ‘pretty special, or pretty and special’ whichever way you look at it.
The smaller sized plate is approx 21.5cm in diameter and says ‘KEDGEREE TOAST & MARMALADE’. Whereas the larger size comes in around 26.8cm and says ‘BACON & EGG BUBBLE & SQUEAK’, thankfully the design being so eye catching any guilt felt through eating that cooked breakfast will soon dissipate. And indeed we cannot be held responsible for any weight gain as a result of using this plate – as just reading the words bacon and egg makes you want to make it!
