Black Toast French Bowl

This Black Toast French Bowl makes a wonderful pretty breakfast or dessert dish. They are also lovely to sit in your pottery collection along with the larger cereal bowl as both are useful for different reasons and this one is slightly more elegant in its design.

They are a great little size at 7.5cm in height and 13.5cm in diameter and still very roomy, deceivingly so in fact. The outer edge of the bowl towards the top says ‘PORRIDGE & CREAM’ (the bowl is too small to display slow release carbs and cream!) and on the inside the bowl says ‘BLACKBERRY & APPLE’. To make your breakfast extra delicious add cream to your cooked porridge and sprinkle with brown sugar or honey and even a touch of cinnamon if you fancy. Maple syrup or golden syrup works well too although all of these are a little indulgent perhaps for every day!

With regards dessert it is no wonder they mention Blackberry and Apple as they make a wonder fruit marriage and are even better served up with a dash of cream. So enjoy the blackberry season why it lasts (July to October) with this lovely Black Toast French Bowl – failing that raid the freezer.
