Ambiente Tapas Restaurant prides itself on offering a selection of Spanish
influenced tapas dishes in stylish & contemporary surroundings. Located in a
Grade II listed building on the Market Place, it provides a perfect environment
to stop for a cup of our excellent Fairtrade coffee, enjoy a light snack or
lunch during the day, or treat yourself to a full evening meal. The emphasis at
Ambiente is firmly placed on the quality of the food combined with the casual
ambience of the setting & the enthusiasm and attention of our dedicated staff.
We are fully licensed and open from 11.30am (10.00am at weekends), serving food
right through to 9.45pm seven days a week. Additionally, our weekend brunch menu
(available from 10.00am until 3pm) features a unique mix of mouth-watering
dishes to tempt you into town. We also welcome families before 6pm at weekends.
As a principle, we ensure that our meat & poultry are supplied from local,
ethically reared sources so you can be assured of their provenance, quality and
integrity. Our menu also includes many vegetarian & vegan dishes - some of which
also seem to be very popular with our meat-eating diners too. Our comprehensive
Spanish wine list (also offering many veggie/vegan wines) can also be relied
upon to have something for every taste and pocket.
For special occasions we can offer a private dining room which will seat up to
12 people around one large table - what better way to celebrate!
