- The COURT HOUSE in Victoria Road was erected in 1900, at a cost of £1,200, is a building of Yorkshire Stone, with columns of polished Aberdeen granite in front, and consists of Court Room and Magistrates' retiring room.

8th April 1936. Supt Keown seceded Supt Bean. - 1st March 1902 – Cow Keeper Association --1st Quarterly Meeting of Malton & Norton & District Cow Keepers Assn. Was held at the Blue Ball, they had a membership of 34 and had admitted 102 Cows into the Assn. 6 Cows were sold and 2 had been substituted leaving 98 Cows in the Assn at this present time.
- THE COTTAGE HOSPITAL, in Cemetery Road, now Princess Road, was opened in August 1905 by the COUNTESS FITZWILLIAM. Full provision was made for 6 beds, and the Hospital contained a modern operating theatre, well furnished for all surgical cases. It was in the charge of a matron and two nurses. Countess Fitzwilliam opened the new cottage hospital in Malton. The fitting cost more then £400 towards which Earl Fitzwilliam donated £100 – both tidy sums in 1905.
