Silicea Lip Herpes Gel by Bioforce

Silicea Lip herpes gel is a well-tolerated remedy for quick relief in case of cold sores, in particular when the blisters have already formed.Silicea Lip Herpes Gel

Cold Sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus type 1. It is very similar to the HSV-2, which causes genital herpes.

When the herpes virus enters the body initially, it travels to the top end of the nerves and waits in a dorment state, during which there is no sign of disease. The virus can be triggered by a number of factors such as physical or emotional stress, over-exposure to UV light, menstration, fatigue, drugs that suppress the immune system, alcohol and nicotine etc.

The virus then trtavels back along the nerve endings in the skin, at or near to the original primary lesion, where it starts to replicate. After 24 hours a blister forms, followed by a weeping or ulceration stage. After around 5 days a scab forms and it can take upto 10 days before the cold sore is healed.

The trend is towards self-medication as there is no successful treatment for doctors to offer. Most conventional cold sore treatments only work at the tringle stage, before the blisters appear.

Silicea Lip Herpes gel works by absorbing secretions from the cold sore, preventing them from spreading infection further, as well as reducing the unsightliness of the area.
