Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that can either be ingested in food or manufactured by the body as a result of sunlight falling on the skin. It is vital for the proper absorption of calcium and the use of phosphorus to form healthy bones and teeth. For this reason we supply vitamin D in both Osteoguard and our Chewable Calcium tablets. Fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, D and E which can be dissolved in fat and can be stored in the body.
