5HTP is a natural amino acid found in the body . Serotone also contains B vitamins and zinc. Available in 50mg and 100mg size capsules. Not advisable if pregnant or taking fenfluramine. Care should also be taken if being prescribed SSRIs. Serotone 5HTP

Ingredients: Lithothamnion calcarea, griffonia simplicfolia extract, cellulose, niacin, zinc citrate, zein protein coating, magnesium stearate, pyridoxal 5-phosphate, pyridoxine HCI, folic acid, biotin. ( Suitable for Vegetarians)

Nutritional: One 100mg tablet typically provides: Niacin (Vitamin B3) (nicotinamide) 30mg, Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5- phosphate, 10mg pyridoxine HCL) , Folic acid 100µg, Biotin 0.05mg Zinc (citrate) 5mg,,L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5HTP) 100mg. Tableted with these natural ingredients: Lithothamnion calcarea, cellulose, zein protein coating, vegetable magnesium stearate. No added: sugar, salt, starch, soya, wheat, gluten, yeast, lactose, dairy products, artificial preservatives, colours or flavourings. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. GM Free.

Directions: 100mg:Take 1 tablet (children over 8 years, 1/ 2 tablet) a day preferably in the evening with a meal or carbohydrate snack. Children maximum dosage: 1/2 tablet a day. Adult maximum dosage: no more than 1 per meal to a maximum of 3 tablets a day or as your health professional advises.

50mg: Take 1-2 tablets a day (children over 5 years, 1 every other day, children over 8 years, 1 tablet per day), preferably with an evening meal or carbohydrate snack. Take no more than 2 tablets per meal, and no more than 6 a day.

Health Warnings: Warning: Serotone 5HTP is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women, or those taking appetite suppressants containing fenfluramine. Some drowsiness may occur if taken during the day. Do not take before long distance driving. In a very few cases gastro-intestinal discomfort may be experienced, which usually disappears by reducing the intake.
