Lactase Biotix is a combination of lactase enzyme and lactobacilli bacteria. Lactase enzyme improves lactose digestion in individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose. Lactobacilli bacteria create lactic acid by breaking down lactose and other carbohydrates.
May be chosen by those who have difficulty in digesting the lactose found in milk and dairy products. As many a 15% of people of northern European descent are lactose intolerant and this level is much higher in other ethnic groups especially Asian and Black populations. Common symptoms include abdominal cramping, belching, flatulence and diarrhea.
Each capsule of Lactase Biotix provides 200mg of lactase enzyme along with 2 billion viable organisms of l-rhamnosus and l-bulgaricus. Lactase Biotix utilises the very latest in supplement delivery systems, DR capsTM, which are designed to delay the release of the active ingredients thereby reducing exposure of the sensitive bacteria and enzymes to the acidic environment in the stomach and releasing them directly into the intestines.
Lactase, microcrystalline cellulose, lactobacilli culture, magnesium stearate, capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, gelling agent: gellan gum).
