Plantago Ovata with high fibre content to ensure ease and regularity. Health Aid capsules are manufactured using the best quality of Psyllium husk seed. Psyllium is a bulk-forming laxative and is high in both fibre and mucilage, the seeds containing 10-30 % mucilage. The laxative properties are due to the swelling of the husk when it comes in contact with water. In addition to its traditional and current use for constipation, Psyllium was also used topically to treat skin irritation, including poison ivy reactions and insect bites and stings.

Nutritional: Two capsules contain average: Psyllium husk 1000mg. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. No added sugar or salt. Free from yeast, gluten, soya, wheat & dairy products.
Directions: Adults, two capsules daily, can be increased to four if required. Children over 12 years of age two capsules daily, to be taken with a generous amount of water or juice, preferably in the evening or as advised by a suitably qualified person.
