What are Prostavital® capsules for? The prostate is a walnut-size gland found in males, situated under the bladder and surrounding the first part of the urethra. Its main roles are to help control urination and to contribute most of the fluid that comprises semen, which nourishes and carries sperm when it is ejaculated. Disorders of the prostate include: prostatitis, which is inflammation of the prostate gland and causes difficulty in urination, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) which normally occurs in older men and causes the enlargement of the prostate to the point where urination becomes difficult; and finally prostate cancer, which is one of the most common cancers affecting elderly men in developing countries. About a quarter of men over 65 experience moderate to severe symptoms caused by the enlarged prostate, which lead to difficulties with urination.
When should I take Prostavital® capsules?
Prostavital ® capsules can be taken by all men aged 18 and older to maintain good prostate health. It is suggested that men in their 40s and over require additional nutritional support for the maintenance of a healthy prostate. Good prostate care is essential as the risk of getting a prostate related illness increases with age. Younger men can use this supplement as a general support.
