Preparation H Ointment offers effective relief from sore skin. It provides a 3-way action: Soothes itching, Reduces painful swelling, Quickly absorbed for fast relief. Preparation H Ointment contains natural ingredients that are clinically proven to effectively reduce swelling and relieve the itching of sore skin. The ingredients also encourage skin repair. Shark Liver Oil has been used since the 16th century for its beneficial effects on skin. The ingredient acts as an emollient by coating the skin to which it is applied with a soothing protective layer. It helps to eliminate redness, swelling and irritation associated with sore or sensitive skin.
