Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate in absolute alcohol is known to be a long term effective way of preventing perspiration. The first PerspireX formulation used 25% Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate in alcohol both as a roll-on and a lotion. However, this formulation has the disadvantage that skin irritations can occur in vulnerable skin areas such as armpits. This is caused by a chemical reaction between Aluminum Chloride and the water in the sweat, forming Hydrochloric Acid on the skin. We solved this problem by adding an Aluminum Lactate to PerspireX Roll-On. It works as a “buffer”, which again transforms the discharged Hydrochloric Acid to Aluminum Chloride and Lactic Acid. By doing this, the Hydrochloric Acid vanishes and the risk of skin irritation is diminished at the same time as the antiperspirant effect is increased.
Directions: PerspireX works while you sleep. PerspireX should be applied at night just before going to bed. PerspireX need only be applied 1 – 3 times a week for complete protection.
